A classic British sea kayak with a reputation for confident handling in rough water, the NDK Romany is a favourite among coaches, guides, and paddlers who enjoy developing their skills. Responsive on edge, easy to roll, and predictable in challenging conditions, it’s equally at home on a relaxed coastal paddle or playing in moving water.
This is the original Romany, built before the model was renamed the Romany Classic. Its exact year is unknown; the estimated build date is between 2001 and 2011, but no serial number has been located to confirm its age.
In very good used condition, this boat comes with a fitted deck compass, an inflatable paddle float, and a Werner Corryvreckan bent-shaft paddle, 210 cm.

Original glassed-in seat with a factory backband. The foam wedge normally fitted behind the backband is missing.

No skeg or skeg box, leaving additional packing space in the stern compartment. The Romany’s natural tracking and responsive edging make this a capable setup for paddlers comfortable managing direction through boat handling.
